Guardian Angels Catholic Primary School

Guided by the teachings of the Church we pray, work, celebrate, and care for each other and other people using the gifts we have been given by the God the Father, Son and Spirit.

Here at the Guardian Angels, we celebrate Our Faith in many different ways. Look at some of the special displays and events that take place during our school year that have a particular focus or importance to our Catholic Faith.

Throughout our school we have prayer areas set up where children are encouraged to develop their confidence to pray by independently visiting the school sacred prayer space. At key times of the liturgical year, children can leave their private petitions to encourage others to pray for them.

To support transition into secondary school Guardian Angels attends a trip with St John the Baptist School to Alton Castle

The focus of our retreat was Discipleship.

Throughout our time at Alton Castle, we reflected upon what it means to be a Disciple and how we can be active Disciples and serve others. Ever mindful of our focus, we developed our faith, our friendships with one another and experienced fun together.

Our Year 6 Confirmandi invited Cannon David Evans  to celebrate their Sacrament of Confirmation in January 2021. The children led a beautiful service and were all filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit.
